Awards
The Philadelphia Police Department and the Delaware River Port Authority awarded Northeast Work & Safety Boats employee, Operator Johnnie Askew, a commendation for rescuing a victim coming off the Ben Franklin Bridge.
The City of Baltimore and the Maryland Department Transportation Authority awarded Northeast Work & Safety Boats employee, Captain Linda Morgan, a commendation for rescuing a suicide victim who jumped from the Key Bridge. Captain Morgan was working under the bridge at the time.
Northeast Work & Safety Boats has rescued a number of victims. After each rescue, we review the rescue to identify potential ways to improve our rescue operation.
